Housing inventory remains low in Rolling Hills as we reach the midpoint of 2020. While the world we live in seems topsy-turvey in many ways, the real estate market on the Palos Verdes Peninsula remains surprisingly strong and steady with the PV single-family market at 1.8 on a scale of 1-10. After a strong showing last month, Rolling Hills’ pending sales stood at one when I analyzed the monthly statistics on June 1. The good news is three Rolling Hills properties have entered escrow during June 2020. These new sales will send the Rolling Hills’ July housing meter back into a market that slightly favors sellers.
June 1 statistics were nine Rolling Hills properties listed for sale, one property in escrow with an accepted offer, and 13 RH residences sold thus far in 2020. As of June 24, inventory has increased to 12 properties for sale, four in escrow, and sales for the year remain at 13.
