Inventory keeps falling; prices continue to rise. Supply is low; demand is high. That’s my response when someone asks about the present housing market. It’s certainly a true statement for Rancho Palos Verdes.
At the beginning of the month, there were 38 Rancho Palos Verdes single-family homes listed for sale. 53 RPV homes were in escrow with accepted offers. Those numbers demonstrate demand is outstripping the supply of properties for sale. I’m hopeful the coming month will replenish the dwindling inventory of homes for sale. Sellers may begin to feel more comfortable opening up their homes for showings and inspections as the vaccination rate climbs and the rate of infection falls. Selling a home during a pandemic takes courage and additional precautionary efforts. It’s no wonder so many homeowners have delayed putting their property on the market. If now is the time to make your move happen, I am ready to help.
