September is here, and I love the cooler mornings and evenings. There seems to be some cooling happening in the local single-family homes real estate market, too. Is it weather related? Maybe, but with back-to-school and a three-day weekend, it’s difficult to pinpoint the reason. Most likely, it’s an aging seller’s market operating with a lower buyer demand–supply and demand define the market, and the Palos Verdes single-family real estate market is approaching a neutral market favoring neither the seller nor the buyer.

Inventory is remaining steady with 216 Palos Verdes single family homes listed for sale. That’s the same number as last month. There are 68 PV homes in escrow (80 last month) with accepted offers, and 469 Palos Verdes single-family homes have sold thus far in 2018.
