October’s single-family inventory remained stable on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, with only a slight increase over September’s numbers. Pending sales on the Peninsula experienced a slight increase helping to create a balance between supply and demand.

 

 

There are 236 Palos Verdes single-family homes listed for sale. There are 91 homes in escrow with accepted offers, and 490 Palos Verdes single-family homes have sold thus far in 2019.

 

As we enter the fourth quarter of 2019, the overall PV housing market is maintaining its grasp on a seller’s market. However, if we analyze the luxury market for homes over $3,000,000, it reflects a market favoring buyers. The supply of luxury homes far exceeds the demand. The attractive interest rates, coupled with ample inventory signals this may be the time to purchase a Palos Verdes luxury property.
