I don’t know about you, but I am ready to wrap up the year 2020 and relegate it to memories past. However, one of the big pluses of this pandemic is the strength of the local Palos Verdes real estate market. The market earned Five Stars from me for sloughing through the past nine pandemic months with strength and vigor. The showings and sales continued without missing a beat. Prices edged higher as demand increased. Buyers and agents donned masks, booties, and hand sanitizers with high hopes and little fanfare as they followed the new rules of buying a house during a pandemic. It was a year in my real estate career that stands apart from anything else I’ve experienced in my nearly thirty years of selling property in Palos Verdes and the South Bay of Los Angeles.

Inventory for single family homes remains low with 113 residences for sale on the entire Palos Verdes Peninsula. 93 Palos Verdes homes are in escrow with accepted offers and 624 PV houses have sold year to date.
