Real estate professionals point to low inventory--that old supply and demand rule from economics 101- when discussing why the seller's market continues to rule the housing marketplace.  Most consumers often have no reference point for historical inventory levels; here's the reality with real numbers. In October of 2019, 236 Palos Verdes single-family homes were for sale. Two years later, we have 76 single-family Palos Verdes homes for sale on the entire Peninsula. Inviting Entry to a Rolling Hills Home Housing inventory remains low in Rolling Hills as we reach the midpoint of 2020. While the world we live in seems topsy-turvey in many ways, the real estate market on the Palos Verdes Peninsula remains surprisingly strong and steady with the PV single-family market at 1.8 on a scale of 1-10. After a strong showing last month, Rolling Hills' pending sales stood at one when I analyzed the monthly statistics on June 1.
