Rolling Hills enjoyed an uptick in real estate activity during the past 30 days or so. Last month, 34 RH properties were for sale; The arrival of September found 25 Rolling Hills residences listed for sale on the Multiple Listing Service. The number of homes in escrow with accepted offers jumped from four to eight as well. That’s significant movement, and enough to move market indicators from a neutral market to teetering on the edge of a seller’s market.

The median price for Rolling Hills homes is $3.3 mm with 50% of the homes selling under that price and 50% selling at a higher price.

 

There are often market shifts as we move from the spring and summer months. Some sellers elect to take a property off the market if it did not sell; other sellers opt for a price reduction to stimulate new interest in their property. These factors often contribute to a flurry of fall activity in the real estate market.
