On a chilly morning last week, I checked the Multiple Listing Service’s daily updates before getting out of bed. (He who snoozes loses). I bolted upright when I saw a new listing that was a perfect fit for my client’s search criteria. After a quick outing with my dog, I sent an email to my clients. We communicated back and forth, and I arranged a time with the listing agent to show the property. When we arrived at the property the next day there was a parade of people viewing the property. Social distancing was in place, but it was the largest crowd I’d seen at a new listing since the pandemic began.
My clients submitted an over-asking price offer. So did 19 plus other prospective buyers! That’s right, more than twenty offers were received.
