Yikes, the single-family homes inventory depletion is getting serious. There are far more homes in escrow than there are houses for sale in Rolling Hills Estates and the unincorporated areas of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
At the beginning of March, there were four single-family homes for sale, and 11 residences were in escrow with accepted offers.
Nearly every purchase offer I’ve written since last summer competed with multiple offers and overbids. The seller’s market gained momentum during the pandemic as buyers scrambled to find room for a home office or two, a home gym, and a home that could provide adequate shelter and safety as they weathered a year quite unlike any other. Home is where life happened in 2020.
If you’re thinking about selling your Palos Verdes home in 2021, the market will certainly welcome all new additions. If you would like some help with the selling process I welcome the opportunity to guide and assist you with your real estate goals.
