The Spring Market has yet to arrive, but Rolling Hills Estates and the unincorporated areas of the Palos Verdes Peninsula (PVP) are already in a hot seller’s market.

There are 14 Rolling Hills Estates and PVP single-family properties for sale. Nine RHE and PVP homes are in escrow with accepted offers, and five Rolling Hills Estates and PVP single-family homes sold during January 2020. Low inventory and continued demand are the forces keeping RHE in a seller’s market.

The Palos Verdes seller’s market remains vibrant, with only the luxury segment favoring buyers. How much longer will the seller’s market last? Only time will tell, but the usual cycle is around ten years, and by my calculations, the birth of this seller’s market began in 2012 as the market rallied from the depths of the housing crash. If you are considering selling, it’s not too late to cash in on this aging seller’s market.
