Markets are always moving, and the Palos Verdes housing market is not in “wait and see” mode during these unsettling times. Perhaps, homes are our refuge from the uncertainty that awaits outside the door, in our economy, and future. No wonder home sales are continuing at a healthy clip as we learn to live with new challenges daily.
My Little Yellow Dot shows the single-family home real estate market in Palos Verdes still favors sellers. There are 148 single-family homes for sale on the entire Palos Verdes Peninsula. There are ninety-three houses in escrow with accepted offers, and 260 single-family residences have sold year to date. Last year at this time, 285 SFR sales were recorded. That performance is not too shabby considering the events that have occurred in 2020 thus far.
